Janie and Jack – Littleton Portrait Photography

Last month we bravely set out to do three day of sessions at Janie and Jack at Cherry Creek (yep, three whole days). I didn’t know quite what to expect, but ended up loving my time there! We met so many wonderful people (and some adorable kids!), not to mention the amazing staff at Janie and Jack. I have to say, they have the CUTEST clothes, and I had so much fun photographing all the kids decked out in their outfits. Hint, hint, if you are ever in need of cute clothes for a photo shoot, Janie and Jack is definitely worth checking out!

Addelyn – Littleton Newborn Photography

I am always amazed how much I love one aspect of photography as much as the next, from family portraits, to senior portraits, to engagement sessions and weddings. This was my first newborn session in our new studio, and big surprise, I loved it!

I was so glad that Amanda (you may remember her, we photographed her beautiful wedding in 2010), Addelyn’s mom, was willing to let us take her daughter’s portraits. Amanda is a good friend of mine (and Brad’s), and actually, her son Kaeden was one of my first subjects! I was Kaeden’s nanny for a few years, and in that time I started to learn about photography. They graciously allowed me to bring my camera when I took care of Kaeden, and I am pretty sure Kaeden tired of me taking pictures of him! All this to say, Amanda’s family means a lot to me, and have become wonderful friends over the years. Because of this, I was so excited to meet Addelyn, and watch her grow up as I have with Kaeden. So here is her first photo shoot – hopefully many more to come!
