Meet Landon and Chesna! I was so excited for their engagement session – I found this great new location full of old barns, farm equipment, and tons of character! Here are a few of my faves -
Meet sweet Ellie! She was so much fun to have in our studio – she loves Disney Princesses, singing songs, exploring, and most of all, her princess tutu! Her mom said we would have to end her session with her in it, because there would be no outfit changes once she had it on! Here are a few of my favorites from Ellie’s two year old session!

I am always amazed how much I love one aspect of photography as much as the next, from family portraits, to senior portraits, to engagement sessions and weddings. This was my first newborn session in our new studio, and big surprise, I loved it!
I was so glad that Amanda (you may remember her, we photographed her beautiful wedding in 2010), Addelyn’s mom, was willing to let us take her daughter’s portraits. Amanda is a good friend of mine (and Brad’s), and actually, her son Kaeden was one of my first subjects! I was Kaeden’s nanny for a few years, and in that time I started to learn about photography. They graciously allowed me to bring my camera when I took care of Kaeden, and I am pretty sure Kaeden tired of me taking pictures of him! All this to say, Amanda’s family means a lot to me, and have become wonderful friends over the years. Because of this, I was so excited to meet Addelyn, and watch her grow up as I have with Kaeden. So here is her first photo shoot – hopefully many more to come!
